  • Some Natural Homemade Remedies for Silky Smooth Skin

Some old remedies still work wonders today. It doesn’t matter how old fashioned they are, you will feel so great after having used them. Many anti-aging products make you feel better too and deserve to be tried. Always consult a dermatologist Salt Lake City before doing anything to your skin that you’re unsure of.

The people who use a lot of detergent, soap, bleach, cleaning products, and so on, have problems with their hands and nails. Oftentimes, this happens because the high alkaline nature of these products upsets the normal pH of your skin, making it more susceptible to fungi, bacteria, and other damaging germs. Here are simple home remedies you can try, and they are dermatologist recommended.

Put one teaspoon of vinegar in a cup of water and soak your hand in it for one minute a day. The acidity of the vinegar will balance out the alkalinity of your skin and help your hands and nails stay healthier!

If you ever get straight bleach on your hands and want to get rid of that smell and slimy sensation right away, try pure vinegar. If you get a minor skin burn, apply cotton soaked in apple vinegar, as it will take the sting away and prevent blisters from forming. If the burn is severe enough, see a doctor or do a lookup for “dermatology Utah” and see a dermatologist Salt Lake City.

Some specialists and dermatologists Utah recommend mashing one banana along with milk and applying the mixture to your skin. Like most natural skin care products suggest, leave the mixture in for twenty minutes, and afterwards rinse it properly and thoroughly with plenty of water. This remedy is perfect for making your skin smooth and supple.

Another good recipe is blending an egg white with honey and applying that. Repeat the same process as for the previous tip. Besides making your skin silky, this remedy helps reduce wrinkles. Also the new recipes could work too, and can benefit your skin easily.

Another anti-aging tip that my grandmother told me about is that wiping off makeup is damaging to the skin, particularly the skin around the eyes, because pulling and tugging sag the skin. Skin is made up of an elastic network and responds much like a rubber band. Regardless of the direction you pull (up, down, or sideways), if you see the skin move, you are tugging on the skin's elastin fibers and helping the skin to sag sooner than it would otherwise. Repeatedly wiping and pulling at the face, no matter how gently, distends the tissue. Like a rubber band, the skin can only take so much pulling until it won't snap back anymore.

Use water with a water soluble cleanser that slips over the face and is easily rinsed off; it decreases friction and minimizes pulling. If you have been used to wiping off eye makeup, it can take a while to get used to washing it off, but it is the most effective and least damaging way. Talk to a dermatologist Salt Lake City if you’re worried about this, and they can tell you other ways to remove makeup that won’t cause your skin to sag later.

My grandmother shared one little secret with me, besides benefiting from natural skincare products. I hesitate a little bit before sharing this with you, but I do not want to be selfish, so here it is. Always smile, especially if you feel tired, because it improves your mood and makes your face looks radiant despite your workload.
